Pit your word skills against the best in the Wetherby area. Bring your own board if you prefer but boards will be on hand. Tell your friends. Teas/coffee and cakes will be provided to restore your energies.
Scrabble a board game in which players create words in a crossword fashion with lettered tiles, was born out of one out-of-work architect’s desire to lift the spirits of millions during the Great Depression in 1933.
Each hour, it is said, 30,000 Scrabble games are started. Perhaps we can help break a new record.
